Connect Tautulli
Add Tautulli to Kochab with your API key and default port 8181.
Tautulli tracks Plex viewing history and stats. Kochab uses its API as an activity and now-playing source.
What Kochab exposes through Tautulli
- Activity tab: active Plex streams reported by Tautulli (alongside direct Plex if both are added)
- Detail surface: stream count and link to Activity
- Push: media server online/offline style reachability when configured
Not exposed through Tautulli
Full Tautulli dashboards (history charts, user stats, newsletters, notification agents) stay in Tautulli’s web UI. Tautulli does not replace Plex for authentication; add Plex separately for direct server sessions.
Before you start
In Tautulli: Settings -> Web Interface -> API key. Copy the key shown there.
Default connection
| Field | Typical value |
|---|---|
| Port | 8181 |
| Scheme | http on LAN, https behind a reverse proxy |
| Auth | API key as a query parameter (apikey=) |
Add in Kochab
- Open Services -> Add service and choose Tautulli.
- Enter your host.
- Set port 8181 unless you use a custom port or proxy.
- Paste the API key.
- Tap Test and add.
Tips
- Tautulli complements Plex; add Plex separately if you want direct server sessions in Kochab too.
