Terms of use.

The short version

• One purchase. Kochab is a one-time buy, not a subscription (the monthly plan is optional and only for trying the app first).
• One entitlement. A single unlock covers every feature and every supported service on iOS and Android. No tiers, no paid add-ons.
• No Kochab account. The app works without registering. Entitlements are managed by Apple or Google through your store account.
• Your deal does not change. If pricing increases later, existing buyers keep the features they paid for at no additional cost.
• You talk to your own servers. The app opens direct connections to the services you configure. We do not operate a service that holds your stack data.
• Refunds go through your store. Apple and Google handle refunds per their own policies; we cannot issue refunds directly.
• Push is provided as-is. The notification relay may have outages or change as the app evolves, but it never carries your media titles.

1. Acceptance

By downloading, purchasing, or using Kochab, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. License grant

[ENTITY] grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Kochab on devices you own or control, for your own use of managing self-hosted services that you operate.

3. Entitlement scope

A single entitlement purchased through Apple's App Store or Google Play unlocks every feature and every supported service in Kochab, on every supported platform tied to the same store account. The app does not require a separate Kochab account.

4. Acceptable use

You may not resell, sub-license, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app. You are responsible for operating the self-hosted services you connect to Kochab and for any content those services handle.

5. The app and your services

Kochab opens direct network connections from your device to the services you configure. [ENTITY] does not receive, store, or transmit your service credentials, library data, queue contents, or media. You are responsible for the security and legality of the services you operate.

6. Push notifications

Kochab uses a data-only relay operated by [ENTITY] to deliver push notifications when the app is closed. The relay sees a device token and a notification category, and does not see or retain media titles, file names, or service contents. The relay is provided as-is and may be unavailable during outages.

7. No warranty

Kochab is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. [ENTITY] does not guarantee compatibility with every version of every upstream service, and is not responsible for upstream breaking changes that affect app functionality.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, [ENTITY]'s total liability arising out of these terms or your use of Kochab is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

9. Refunds and billing

All purchases and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective store policies. [ENTITY] cannot issue refunds or modify store transactions.

10. Changes to these terms

[ENTITY] may update these terms before they take effect. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
