Connect NZBGet
Add NZBGet to Kochab with username and password and default port 6789.
NZBGet is a Usenet download client. Kochab uses its API for queue control and blended Downloads.
What Kochab exposes through NZBGet
- Downloads tab: NZBGet items in the blended queue
- Control screen: pause/resume/speed and queue/history actions supported by the client
- Search sends: Usenet grabs from Search route to NZBGet when configured
Not exposed through NZBGet
Full NZBGet settings, categories editor, and scripting stay in NZBGet’s web UI.
Before you start
In NZBGet: Settings -> SECURITY. Set a ControlUsername and ControlPassword if you have not already.

Add in Kochab
- Open Services -> Add service and choose NZBGet.
- Enter your host.
- Set port 6789 unless you use a custom port or proxy.
- Enter username and password from NZBGet security settings.
- Tap Test and add.
